April Saturday Sampler AGAIN!

Here are the April blocks again, maybe this time things will work correctly. Don't know what happened, if it wasn't obvious before you now know the lack of tech expertise around here. But we'll keep trying! Thanks for being patient with us. Have a wonderful rainy (?) weekend.

Celebration!

Following Saturday Sampler we had a grand time celebrating the publication of a Summer Breeze in the April 2011 edition of Quilter's World magazine. We loved designing the quilt and have stitched another color combination since the magazine debuted. Thanks to our lovely quilting friends who joined us to party! We sewed, ate, and had some fun with door prizes. One of life's lovely charms . . . quilting with friends.

We had local quilters, those from out of town, and out of state. We will do this again as it was such fun. Thanks to everyone who participated.

We also showed Nancy Halvorsen's new fabric line today, Jingle All the Way. She just keeps creating gorgeous prints, the tone-on-tone prints are luscious. They are created to coordinate with a Christmas panel, but after looking at them we think they will work for spring, summer, and our watermelon quilt! We have the entire line.
