Here we are in the second month of 2013 already! Despite the snow, many of our out of town friends came today. . . we are always so glad to see all of our Saturday ladies.
Here is our pieced block in the pink/red color way. OOPS! I have to fix the triangles. . . amazing what you don't see when you are in a hurry. Maybe the lesson here is to take a deep breath and SLOW DOWN!!!
The autumn colors . . .
For
the Summer Sunshine project, we are doing the watermelon block this
month. And. . . as we promised, we introduced other samples for using
the blocks. We have an adorable watermelon and sunflower table runner, place mats and a dish towel for starters. You have our permission to
shrink the pattern for the dishtowel.
This gorgeous quilt was made by Gale Niemi. We have the pattern and fabrics available. It is
dramatic, lovely and springlike.
