Look What's New

Is this the cutest guy ever. It is a flip and sew pattern and we'll be offering a class to teach the technique. The orange zipper trim on the edges gives it real teeth (sorry. . . just couldn't resist). It's only one of our many new fall samples. Our Fall Open House will be held Thursday, Sept. 16 - Saturday, Sept 18. It's a great time to get your fabric and sign up for class.

On Thursday, Sept. 16 at 6:00 p.m. we are having a special event, Stash Matters. Join us for an hour of info on managing your stash, storage, planning quilts, new patterns and several trunk shows. It promises to be an hour of informative fun. And. . . we always have great refreshments!!

Sale! Sale! Sale!

Join us this week for our New Year's Sale. We have 20% off all bolted fabric with other in-store specials on New Year's Day. Speaking of The first day of 2010, we'll be open from 10:00 until 3:00, so leave your hubby watching the game and come on in for some fun.

We also have a new class schedule and it's time to sign up and hold your place. All the new class samples will be hanging by Jan 15.

We hope you enjoyed a wonderful Christmas and look forward to a new year. You know you're a true quilter when you don't make resolutions, but choose new quilt patterns and fabrics instead! That is way more fun! Come on in and enjoy some of our ideas for the coming year.

We'll start our Saturday Sampler (again) on the second Saturday in January. You may come for the 8:00, 9:00 or 10:00 a.m. session. You'll love our new ideas. . . quite different! You pay $6.00 or $10.oo depending on your quilt choice and listen to our short class. It is actually quite a bargain as we teach lots of quilting techniques. Make your block at home and return with the completed block the next month and you receive the next block free. Lots of fun and you will also enjoy spending time with so many nice ladies. New Fall Projects

We've been working on new fall projects, oh my......do we have some good stuff! Bobbi is busy changing displays with help from Charla and Christy. Betty, Diana, Anne, and Jan are busy cutting kits, kits, kits and Geralyn is creating new patterns and quilting. Please check with us during the next few days and especially for our Fall Fling next week, Thurs-Sat. We're having a Fabric Fashion Show on Thursday, Sept 17th at 6:00 p.m. that will be more fun than a barrel of monkeys! And besides that ...........food!
You should see all the new minkee colors and textures. The picture doesn't do them justice, but gives you a little sample. They are so soft and make the most darling quilts! Like these! . . . or ahem. . . those above!

A New Beginning

Here we are, a new beginning! Trying to keep up with technology as well as all things "quilting" is a big job. Small steps lead us on great journeys . . . and this is a first new small step for our business. . . becoming a part of the blogging world. We hope you will stay with us as we learn and share our passion for quilting in this "new to us" format.
We are looking forward to our Fall Frenzy Sale, Thursday, September 17-19. On Thursday evening at 6:00 p.m. we are presenting a Fabric Fashion Show. Bobbi has been in CREATIVE MODE and we are doing something we've never done before. We have lots of new ideas, patterns, and quilts to share and hope you'll love the METHOD of sharing.
