. . . And we are in Love with the apron quilt. Remembering times of long ago and using 30's reproduction fabrics, this quilt will make us all miss our grandmothers! The first month's block is the full size apron in the top right corner.

Here is the first block for the western quilt. There is just something that feels good about a good cowboy boot. Our quilt will feature boots, stars, horseshoes, hats. . . all things cowboy. Yippee and Yee Haw!

Saturday Fun

We had such a great time today with all the Saturday ladies. Bobbi designed darling displays for our new blocks, all FOUR of them. We're going western, retro, and patchwork all at once. We will post the block photos each month.

We'll start our Saturday Sampler (again) on the second Saturday in January. You may come for the 8:00, 9:00 or 10:00 a.m. session. You'll love our new ideas. . . quite different! You pay $6.00 or $10.oo depending on your quilt choice and listen to our short class. It is actually quite a bargain as we teach lots of quilting techniques. Make your block at home and return with the completed block the next month and you receive the next block free. Lots of fun and you will also enjoy spending time with so many nice ladies. Potholders!

Make these delightful potholders in great new patterns and colors. We used fabrics from Authentic and Astor Manor, both from Moda. The patterns are from Cotton Way. Everyone can use a new potholder. . .(not those old things we all have in the drawer!) and what a great gift idea.

Take a class!

We are offering a class for making potholders on Monday, November 30, at 6:00 p.m. These are addicitive and are one of those "old that is new again" patterns. Come to the class and visit while you stitch. We always seem to find some chocolate thrown in there somewhere which just adds to the pleasure.
